Which version of GarageBand do you have installed? If you are currently using GarageBand 6.0.5, you are running the latest version of GarageBand '11. Then there is no need to update.

Jul 13, 2019 The first has Garageband 6.0.5 installed and the Mac Pro has 10.2 installed. On both, when I go to the lesson store, I get a message that I need 10.3 to get access to the downloads. This really bothers me since I need at least Sierra for it, which isnt possible on these old(bit still very capable) Macs.
Earlier GarageBand versions are situated in sub-folders (with the version name), found in the folder of Applications. An example is if you have GarageBand 6.0.5, it will be placed in the same name folder. If you need to reinstall a GarageBand folder, it will be available in the Purchases tab of the Mac App Store.
